Violence Against Women in Papua New Guinea

I had the opportunity to listen in one a short presentation on Domestic Violence against women in Papua New Guinea, a country in the South Pacific with over 800 languages, and the estimated life expectancy lingers around 64 years of age for males and 68 years for females according to the CIA World Fact Book.

Although some steps have been taken since CEDAW , the government is still  facing challenges in implementing domestic policies that would help educated the population on its popular and cultural habits of violence against women and girls.
